22nd July '75
Presley is seen here leaving the Hilton Motor Lodge in Greensboro, enroute to Asheville, North Carolina. Two questions if I may . . Is this the incident where Presley left rather prematurely, driving pass the band' bus (they were having icecreams at a road side stand) enroute to the airport. Also, wasn't this the moment in time where Presley flew on to Asheville leaving the band members standing on the tarmac??

Funky, I made the same mistake.
Those two photos are NOT from Greensboro. Notice that Elvis is wearing a different dog-necklage.
We should have a conference where we could all sit down and discuss all those great candids. A couple of bears and loads of rare candids and we'd have the time of our life. Well, at least a jolly good time.
I'll be back on the message-board Friday evening.

! That's not a bad idea having a conference in regards 'candids'. We will never stop learning about them! Now, what's all this confusion about Greensboro @ 22nd July ('75)?-

Funky, it's not nice to attack a man who is away from the messageboard for a couple of days.
Ehhh, don't know where my mind was when I wrote about the bear. Maybe something hot a cuddly but I did actually mean a couple of beers as you guessed.
The confusion about the Greensboro pix Funky, is that the first two photos you mailed in this thread are NOT from Greensboro, but probably from New Haven as mentioned by others.
The set of 6 photos in your last post ARE form Greensboro.
The set of 6 candids from Memphis I have as being from July 26 in stead of July 27?? Maybe after midnight???
