I have the photos in the link below listed as June 24th, with light blue pants, not dark as what you originally posted...and the book Steamrolling Over Texas has the date of what you posted as June 23, 1974, so I'm not sure if both dates are correct...

By the way, what you have posted are amazing

You will also notice that Red's clothing is diferent, so the pictures I posted are not from the same event as you and Brad have posted.

Also if you look at the necklace Elvis is wearing below, that seems to be the very same as the one he received by a fan in Vegas Aug 74:

If this is the same necklace, the pics are from after the Aug 74 Tour in LV.

Perhaps the info in the book and the info I posted are both wrong:

According to L. Cotten's "Elvis On Tour in The 70's ", they arrived at Niagara Airport at dawn June 24th, which means that Elvis must have left Philadelphia during the night time.

So maybe the pics are from June 24th arriving Niagara Airport....

Any thoughts...?

Btw: here is another one:

I don't know - I have a few "photo guys" in the Elvis world I will try to see if they can pin point the dates...

Great photos again today E-Cat!

The more pictures that are produced, the more that myth gets shattered!

My two original photos below (copyright July 1980 by Lin Hammerschmidt) are dated June 23, 1974 Philadelphia Hilton.
Notice that Elvis is wearing his Maltese cross necklage in both photos and the blue trousers

In the next photo Elvis is without the necklage. Joe Esposito and Dick Grob wear what looks like the same clothes although Joe has taken off his jacket and wears it over his arm. Unfortunately, we can't see what Red West has on in the first photo.
Image

The Maltese Cross necklage is, by the way, NOT the one he received by a fan in Las Vegas during August 1974. He wore that cross during the March show in Memphis which ended up on "Recorded Live On Stage In Memphis" which is the record Elvis is signing at the same occasion where he got the necklage in photo below. The necklage he received is the round one you can see to the right of the Maltese Cross in the photo below. It looks more like the one around Sheila's neck in the last photo below.

Awesome pics, thanks very much. While I saw both of the shows on June 23, 1974 (which were incredible, the afternoon show was a bit better than the evening show), it is great to see these "behind the scenes" pics.

You're most welcome Paul.

Here's a couple more that I believe could be from Elvis' departure from Philly.
