The beautiful and talented Susan Hayward with Elvis at the Danny Thomas "Shower of Stars" Benefit for St. Jude's Hospital in Memphis, June 28, 1957.

There are several shots from this Friday night wing-ding in the FECC Picture section, including a few with the great Lou Costello!

Thanks Doc.
I have seen the Lou Costello picture, but guess I didn't remember this one. Elvis looks amazingly cool in this photo.

So cool, it was used as the cover of one of the Stereo '57 "import" CDs from a few years back. Elvis in '57 couldn't be beat.

It's so awesome to see photo's or film of EP attending these types of functions. Part of me wishes he would have attended these when he got older, aside from his Jaycees award. Who knows, running into the beautiful people at these events might have motivated him into keeping fit.

Good film !

Never understood why she wasn't a 'bigger' star than she was.

One of my favourites.
