More information for y'all:

- the picture James originally asked about was used to illustrate the first disc of the 60s box ... if you find a vinyl version, you get the photo in 12x12 size

- the 60s box credits this photo as from an "exclusive" session for the "Stuck On You" sleeve ... there are images from this session on that 45 sleeve, and the cover of "Elvis Is Back!" as well

All this said, the Dec '58 Christmas LP reissue obviously used an image from a session in 1958.

The date in question, again, is probably from the middle of 1959, in Germany. It is even possible that all those publicity photos of Elvis in uniform, strumming an acoustic guitar, and the cover sleeve of "A Big Hunk O' Love" are also from this mid-1959 session.

Doc, I think you are onto something here. Who took the photos used on the Greetings for Germany set and inside the Elvis Is Back LP? It would make sense that these photos and the one James was seeking information was taken at the same time, since this is the only time we see Elvis with the Isanna guitar.
