He sure was mean & lean (& kicking butt) in those July '74 karate photos. Perhaps they should have filmed him then instead of in September? Anyway, some other shots from the same day here:

Correct me if I am wrong, but didn't Presley attend the Memphian later that night to watch a few movies! I may have some candids!
