Aloha from Hawaii candids?

I just finished watching Aloha and it just hit me that I have yet seen any pics. form it. I saw zero flases from cameras at both concerts! Funky, Brian, Doc. Any pics. or info why we never get any

Are you saying that the photos that are in circulation haven't been taken by fans in the audience (for example the pictures on the LP and CD) but by professional photographers? Wasn't there a no flash policy, because the concert went out live? I remember reading that there were all sort of restrictions, like people actually weren't allowed to leave their seats and no shouting? Must have felt diffrent to be on that stage those nights.

This isn't the largest amount of leis he ever got during a Hawaii arrival, but there sure are some diffrent designs, like pearls?



One of my favorite photos is the moment were he spreads out the cape and you can see the eagle in all its glory. I believe there used to be a controversy/discussion over one close up, where people were guessing whether it's sweat or tears running down his cheek. What I noticed that there isn't a decent photo that features the entire orchestra, especially the string section. But since they were basically sitting in the dark!? Anyway I really like the runway with the diffrent lights and colors. What unique concerts they were.

I always thought that the Aloha Concert was the most photographed event of the century...

We never see any candids of that show like we do alot of the shows. No one every puts any on this or on the candid section.

It might very well be that there was a photo-restriction at the two shows. I've always thought it was strange that most photos we see from the shows are the same but never given much though to why. A photo-restriction would explain much.
Haven't watched Aloho lately but I seem to remember a lack of flash-bulbs as in many other shows.
