Scanned these from a 1959 movie magazine--if anyone would like to see one or more of these bigger, let me know--I have dial-up so I didn't want to be here all night uploading

The article talks a lot about that accident Vernon had where he wrecked elvis' sports car in Germany...he was drunk wasn't he? I forget--but it's very dramatic...has Elvis answering the phone and repressing a scream of anguish--reads just like a soap opera

Stacy, my understanding is that Vernon was travelling at a high rate of speed on the famous no-speed-limit Autobahn when he lost control of the vehicle and crashed. You can't blame Elvis for his anguish -- it was hard enough losing one parent the previous August.
