I´m not expert as you guys but I think this is from the same time when Girls! Girls! Girls! was being filmed.

Well Funky, you got me this time. The 1960´s has never been one of my favourite periods Elvis-wise. I loved his films and lots of the movie songs but I never dug into the 60´s and researched like I did for the 1970´s and 1950´s.

I would guess that the first photo is from 1957, but hard to tell if there are any sideburns that can tell something.

On the 50s one, I dont have a clue either... But on the 60s pix, I remember

seeing another one, with in the background Priscilla [ turning her face from

the camera, holding drinks] ... The place [ I guess] Memphis... The year?

62-63 ? Was Pris living with him already? Who knows?... Who cares?

Yeah Ger, I hate to admit it but I´m only human. Just like the rest of you.

I believe thoses two pix are from Hawaii and my guess would be January 14, 1973.

Man, I sure hope I made this test so I can get at least some of my confidence back.

Don't get me wrong Girl Happy Boy, I álso love the 60´s. Saw all the movies and loved them, bought all the LP's and loved them, still love them. Still love his films although it's been a long time since I watched them.

What is interesting in the '60 is that there are alot of styles like: in the 1960-1962 great albums like: ELVIS IS BACK! , HIS HAND IN MINE, SOMETHING FOR EVERYBODY, POT LUCK
And there is the middle 1963-1966 with the great 1963 session that i really enjoy , great numbers like: ASK ME , IT HURTS ME, INDESCRIBEBLY BLUE, LOVE LETTERS & more
And finally there is the late '60 : 1967-1969 with the" diamonds": BIG BOSS MAN, GUITAR MAN, YOU DONT KNOW ME, SUSPICIOUS MINDS, DONT CRY DADDY, IN THE GHETTO, IF I CAN DREAM, MEMORIES......
Elvis voice was also changing all the time , the styles of the songs & everything...

The only thing to go on is the watch(s). He looks pretty thin ( pre-fame ).
It's a dark photo - so knows with the hair etc.

Can't wait for your website funky. Looking forward to it. Gonna have a field day drooling all over them cool vintage candids.

Not pre-fame. It looks like early 57 to me. Around the Loving You time.

I thought about the window and chairs as well Steve. looks like something from an airport maybe.

Is that a window both behind and to Elvis' right??

I´m gonna move that pic back to late 1957/early 1958 now because it's very clear in your pic that Elvis has long sideburns and therefore the pic can NOT be from the 1960's

The watch is one Elvis wore during late 1957 or early 1958 and during his military session he is seen wearing both the watch as well as the ring.

So, I'd say we move the pic to late 1957 or more likely early 1958 before Elvis had his hair cut for King Creole.

He looks too skinny. By late '57 early '58 he was more heavy.
I'd say Loving You period. About the watch, he could have had it for a while before hand. Think about the horse shoe ring. He wore it for a few years then put it away. Pulled it out in the late 60's ( thats what I am getting at - dig? ). And wasn't he going through his WHITE CLOTHES stage during late '56 early '57 in Hollywood? ( ie. the candid movie set footage from that period ) etc.

He is also wearing a ring on his left pinky. Did you notice that?
