... You know, I once held his Harley cap in my hands, here at home. 8) Its now on display in a rock n roll museum, somewhere in Germany. No, I didnt own it, just held it... Nice hair grease stains on the inside :D

... [ Brag, brag]... The striped shirt, from the 2nd album cover, also rested in my hands once... He might have been 6 feet tall, but back in 56, he must have had the torso of a teenager... that shirt was small, really small!

On the subject of holding, back in '97 (at Humes High!) there was this old - timer who owned (and had it with him, on a coat - hanger, all wrapped in plastic) Elvis' yellow jacket from 'Viva Las Vegas'!

Great shots there Funky, nothing new, but great shots anyway.

We havenĀ“t been able to get a date on those two 56 pix, have we?? Other than fall of 56!

Sincerely
Brian

OK, time to write here just once a week is way not enough for me. I never used to think that I lead a busy life, but apperantly so. I was supposed to work today too, but I haven't heard from the boss, and I sure won't call her. If I can have the weekend off that's great! 8)

I love the way Elvis looks with his MC hat on, it's so cool!! Same goes for the jacket. It is a pretty strange jacket, and very short for what guys traditionally would wear. But that's one more reason to love our guy. He didn't just ignore the boundaries that existed between blacks and whites but also men and women.

Here are some more photos of Elvis wearin this outfit. I don't know if any of them are from same occasion as yours Funky, I can't make out the sheriff badge on any of them. But that doesn't mean that he isn't wearing it.
