In chair

I believe these pics are all from 56, but I do not know the exact date of these. I would appreciate your help.

The last one is no chair pic, but something like that. Is it possible that this is from fall 56, from the same time the pictures with the dog were taken?

... First two, july/ aug Audubon Dr. 56...3 and on, Audubon Dr, couple o months earlier. Last one, lying down, Hollywood, aug/ sept 56. Doggie was in Memphis...

Ger, are you sure those # 3-5 are from Audubon Drive???

I always believed they were from the first week of June 1956 in Los Angeles after reading the 1956 magazine Elvis Presley which has 14 of those pix along with a story about Elvis flying from Oakland to Los Angeles and the rehearsal of the Milton Berle show.

Those pix are from same day where Elvis is sitting by a desk reading a lot of fan mail. Judy Spreckles is standing beside him in at least one of those pix. The letters are adressed to Elvis Presley c/o Al Jarvis, Hollywood 27, Calif.

The letters came in boxes from Fronter Foods Corp in Los Angeles, Calif.

Another pic from same date is Elvis sitting a a dinner table (see below) reading a newspaper. In the pic are Gene Smith, Tom Diskin and Bitsy Mott as well as some girl and Judy Spreckles in same clothes as on the photo with the letters. Elvis is wearing different clothes in the dinner table photo.

So I strongly believe that those pix are from early June 1956 out in L.A.

Just forgot that one of the headlines in that paper is "Queen Victoria's
Official Photog Dead at 83"

Another headline is "Open Huge Safeway Store In Glendale Tomorrow" and there is a Glendale in Los Angeles.

So, if anybody has access to Los Angeles papers please check the papers from early JUne 1956 and we´'ll probably get the correct date. Anybody

Is this one really from Hollywood? Based on the shirt I thought it was Tupelo. Of course, he wore the shirt at other times too...

... You is so right, brian. The curtains looked so similar to the ones at Audubon Drive... Tired eyes, I guess? Yes Sister, its Hollywood for sure. Maybe from the same day he did the photo shoots for 20th Century, in both the red and blue velvet shirts.
