Not a fan of Dee Presley, eh?
Anyway, I love these photos of Elvis, an artist at the top of his game at the age of 26, a multimedia giant of radio, TV, stage and screen, with three kick-ass benefit shows booked in the next four weeks. Good times never seemed so good.
Two of the snaps are reverse-images, below are the corrected photos.

Hamburgers? that looks like a piece of bread to me, i.e. a roll.

I took a leaf outta docs book, here's your color pic with the image the right way around. i can see why from the background why someone thought it must be the other way, i don't know if that's a window of some sorts with the writing on..

Note: four of those six photos are from March 8, 1961, when Elvis addressed the Tennessee State Legislature in Nashville.
Trust the doc!

Thank you very much for pointing that out. I really didn't know... he is wearing the same outfit though? or is it just my eyes playing tricks on me?!!

Did you all read the saying on the trophy Elvis received on the last of Funky´s pics.
"A Tribute for reaching the 75 million mark in record sales"
75 million in 5 years and 3 months. Not bad at all. And if memory serves me well I believe that the TV-set Elvis recieved at Graceland right after he got back from the army was awarded for his 50 million records.
Please correct me if I´m wrong but I seem to remember having read it somewhere. Just don´t recall where.

Thanks for the great pics.
One would hope that the hotel could've come up with a better looking dais for the world's #1 entertainer to speak from .... it looks like it was last used by Rudy Valentino. Also looks like they were hiding the good china?
Maybe they thought Stanley would pilfer it
