March 28, 1977 after the concert

With some help I was able to replace the black and white photo I originally used for the Candid Central update this week with the colour one below;

After a concert in Austin, TX on March 28, 1977

Paul, I need to say this again. All these photos you're sharing with us are amazing. Very fascinating stuff. Thank you, it's very much appreciated. I'm still hoping you'll collect them in a book someday!

Perhaps you could team up with Ernst and FTD and do a book with them? I just know it'd be a classic.

It's a fantastic picture but it's not from March 28, Austin Texas. First of all the March tour ended on the 22nd. Secondly he never played Austin in 1976.
Since he's wearing the "V-neck with Puff Sleeves" here we have some alternatives: Bloomington, Indiana on May 27th, Odessa, Texas on May 30th, 2:30 pm or Fort Worth, Texas on June 3rd.

I think he wrote 1977. Elvis did play in Austin in 1977.

You're right, I'm sorry. In that case he's wearing the "Ace of Spades" which, after studying the collar, makes more sense. (I start losing my touch)
