Director Michael Curtiz set up a beautiful shot there. That's what a great filmmaker gives you.
At the time the building was still an art gallery owned by Larry Borenstein. But this is the carriageway of the future Preservation Hall.
I've been inside. They play traditional jazz in that place every night. It's a really small room. It's way cool.
New Orleans is one of the great cities in America.
