New to my eyes, thanks.

Spent a bit of today trying to identify the man with Elvis. Finally realized he had an uncredited part in "Loving You" as the local newspaper photographer.

He's seen twice, once when he takes a risqué photo of the singer making out in his dressing room, and again in front of "Civic Hall," after the town council cancels a Deke Rivers show. See my screengrabs below.

IMDb lists the actor as Jeffrey Sayre, but that is completely wrong. Someone suggested that the man was a KNXT-TV (Channel 2) newscaster in Los Angeles, but I cannot find anything to confirm that.

The picture you found on FB was made the day they shot that second sequence, based on the fact they're standing in front of the Civic Hall doors with the sign "SHOW CANCELLED" behind them.

Also note Elvis is wearing the same silk cowboy shirt seen in the earlier "(Let Me Be Your) Teddy Bear" musical sequence. He's wearing it when he drives up to find out the show is off. The photographer's clothes are also a match to this scene. See the screengrabs.

That is definitely the match. Wonder if Elvis caught his English accent and that led to the photo?

Can anyone contact IMDb to correct their error?

It appears "Photographer" has one spot on the Credits page, and "Ed Grew" another.

They need to merge the two, delete Jeffrey Sayre.
