I saw this picture on 1015Elvis' youtube channel. Does anyone have this in better quality?

There's a number of these shared on the Elvis In The 70's group, apparently from the guy who took them at the show, Kelly Edmison, a retired fire chief. Not much better quality, maybe a little sharper, but I think they're really atmospheric and capture the experience really well.

He says they're from July 5th in Memphis.

These photos are some of the sharpest long shot photos I think I've seen of Elvis in Concert. The Fire chief must have owned quite a high quality camera. They almost look like they have been taken with a digital camera! :D

Yes, I'm also surprised as to how sharp they look which I think is a bit unusual for the time they were taken. These are totally new to me, so thanks so much for the share.

I thought I'd add the accompanying message from the guy who took the photos, again, credit to Elvis in the 70's FB group.

"My one and only time I saw Elvis. July 5th, 1976; Memphis Coliseum. Didn’t know then but it would be his last time to perform there. I brought along a 35 mm camera I had borrowed from a friend. (No flash) Took several rolls of slide pictures that night. Got back home (several hours away) and somehow over the next couple of days I lost the film canisters. I got divorced in 1981; still hadn’t found the film. Sometime around 1991 I was going through some old boxes and found the film. Had no idea if anything would turn out."

Yes, that backdrop is most definitely Mid-South Coliseum in Memphis. Elvis put on a great show in his final outing in Memphis.

As much as I love good close ups, I always find these wide angle shots some of the most interesting and atmospheric photos of Elvis in concert. It's almost like I'm there :)

Every opinion is my own, unless stated otherwise.

I overuse brackets as well
