It sure did. I also have 2 other local TV guides from 1956 that I have never seen in any books and have never seen published anywhere on the Internet.

I always intended to publish a book of worldwide magazine covers along the lines of Paul Dowlings album cover book.

Unfortunately it hasn't happened yet but you never know.

I could post many unseen early magazines on this site Tony but in my opinion this forum has been spoilt by the inclusion of post 1977 issues, memorial issues and modern day covers.

Plus if I do eventually put them all in a book, it won't be very interesting if they've all been seen before or available for viewing on the Internet would it?

That's why seperate sections were created, so one could peruse which era's / countries one wants. To limit everything to just '50's Elvis would not be fair to those that like the whole time frame of Elvis' career and aftermath.

Once post 1977 magazine covers started appearing in the different sections I was done with the forum.

IMO there should have been a separate thread for all post 1977 magazine covers from anywhere in the world. Why would serious collectors want to be bothered looking at mags that had Elvis on the cover from 1996? There were hundreds and we could go on forever looking at those.

It's the previous items from the 1950s and early 1960s that most people want to see.
