I don't know about other countries, but in the UK, Elvis was often featured in magazines for younger people, including Mirabelle, Roxy and Bunty etc. "Look-in" (the 'junior TV Times') featured Elvis on it's front cover on at least 11 occasions. The one shown is one of the earliest and hardest to find, from 1972.

This one is a girls' magazine which features Elvis on the front, but nothing inside! It's from 1976: a time when maybe Elvis was just passing being a children's favourite perhaps?

Look-in featured Elvis a lot after he died, including a weekly cartoon story of his life, but they certainly weren't jumping on the band wagon: someone on the Look-in team must have liked Elvis as he was featured fairly regularly, even when he wasn't gracing it's front cover. Here's one from June 1977.

.........and here they are still flying the Elvis flag in 1981 with some more tasteful artwork. Gawd bless 'em.

Valentine girls' magazine had a holiday extra in the summer of 1963; something for the girls to drool over on the front cover AND inside!

Here are two supplements that were presented with the girls magazine 'Mirabelle'. The Dig this rock n roll' mini mag is from march 1957 and the 'Elvis picks the pops' is from October 1962.

Another 'Valentine' girlies mag, this one has 'TWO romantic picture stories' which are inspired by this Elvis album track!!! (I must admit I haven't bothered reading the 2 romantic picture stories!! A bit heavy for me!!!)

December 1960. A large size magazine this with a 4 page section on Elvis. I've got this in a protective bag, hence the glare.
