Great upload. "Elvis as Pariah" would follow him for several years, with over-the-top magazines like Rave leading the way.

Some thoughts:

We get the name of the month in 20 year-old Reverend Kandie Risenhoover.

And the magazine loves the fellow, describing him as "so much handsomer than Presley that he makes the latter look like a pile of sour owl droppings."

That may be the quote of the month!

The poor kid's "sermonette" is the work of a very young and narrow mind. Note he mentions not a single song, specific act or quote to support his view that Elvis is "evil."

The photo of "Farley Granger & Friend" depicts the actor with actress Shelley Winters.
