Great upload. June Juanico is one of my favorites of all the girls Elvis ever dated. She's beautiful, and she has spunk!

The article by Philip Chapman is very accurate, quite refreshing for such magazines, and the way he ends the piece, with ambiguity about the future of Elvis and June, would be spot-on come 1957. June would indeed find someone else, and tell Elvis in a brief, tearful meeting in New Orleans in March 1957.

Chapman may have liked June a bit as well, describing her thusly:

June is a pretty brunette, nicely contoured …

She was a brunette, and softly curved and very pretty, and about eighteen.

Interesting to see this! I'm currently about 3/4 of the way through Peter Guralnick's "Last Train to Memphis". Just read about this relationshIp within the last couple of days.

How timely.

Thanks for sharing.

Another winner! Many thanks.

Oh, I think her boyfriend was rather "nicely contoured" himself. Especially in that cute little halter top he's wearing! ;)
