Interesting interview.
Wonder who sued him over the photo.

Also, a talent show in memphis that the colonel saw before he was famous?

I just wonder if this was made up..

It's an "accordian memory": several things squished into one. Very common thing.

Elvis started the "bicycle" story. The man who sold the guitar to him signed an affidavit, and made a recording, testifying that he wanted a rifle. An "Official Red Ryder . . . Range Model . . ."
