Modern Screen - June 1974.
The Headline - Elvis Tells Us : "I've Had Too Many Casual Affairs..I'm Getting Married Again."
And
Priscilla Presley : "I Love Being Free To Be Me..."

Thanks for sharing. If Elvis read this, it must have driven crazy to see Priscilla quoted so extensively. His "quotes" are made up. Her's seem legit.

Thanks for the share.
Although there's nothing too deep here, it all rings true. Assuming this Modern Screen article on Elvis written by Jo Marsh was crafted close to the publication date, it would be interesting to learn which lounge show the singer attended with his anonymous date during the January-February 1974 engagement. "This is the beginning of a new Elvis." Those are ominous words.
The Dorothy Manners piece on Priscilla is cute, but offers less of interest to the Presley scholar. I do wonder how long the "Bis & Beau Boutique Shop" in Beverly Hills lasted. There are receipts going until summer 1976.

As far as Priscilla Beaulieu, there are a few things that spring to mind.Domino wrote:drjohncarpenter wrote:

An interesting snapshot of Priscilla Beaulieu at Bis & Beau in mid-1974.
If the store had continued success, would she have embarked on an acting career?
