Elvis No. 1 Streaming Artist!!!

Satellite radio, other radio-like streaming. All of this is with radio-type royalty arrangements. Top-drawer.

NUMBER ONE!

USA Today (BFD nationwide newspaper):

Channel 19 can get dull or tiresome for us, but for newbies and civilians, it works!!!

And people love his voice(s). He is still "healing all the broken hearts in the world."

I think Elvis is more respected now, then he was 15 years ago.

I think there is a gradual change from precisely the time-period you mention to today. And I think a lot of it has to do with the difficult, yet fruitful manner in which Ernst & Co. have brought the focus back to the music. Certainly, the entire decade of the '90s gave us so much music many of us never heard before. It seemed like a waterfall by decade's end. But it was only the beginning!

So, I think there has been a sea change, but not sudden. It's still in process, but it's good.

Yes, Ernst has definitely help shift the focus back on the music, but I also believe youtube has helped immensely. People now see how remarkable he was as a live performer and how phenomenal he looked most of his life, where as a lot of what they thought they knew before was based on impersonators and or hard-liners who ran Elvis down. How can anybody watch the 68 comeback special and not think this guy was the coolest man ever to walk on the planet.

I think it's great that Elvis is #1 in any poll, but really isn't only because he has his own station? They're playing his music 24/7 so of course he's going to have some good numbers.Doesn't mean many people are actually listening, though.
Anybody know the ratings of the Elvis Channel?
