New Elvis The Man And His Music out now

Sat Dec 01, 2007 7:46 pm

The latest issue of EMM came through my letter box this morning,

it looks like a good issue all the usual suspects, interveiws, reveiws

& some great pictures.

Interveiws are with Edward Faulkner from the film Tickle Me,Colonel

Parker from ABC-TV on August 15th 1987 & Canadian drummer

Arni May who played drums for Elvis in Ottawa on April 3rd 1957.

The reviews cover most of the new official & unofficial releases.

It must be the best Elvis magazine around.

But, in these days of 'instant' internet access to all the latest news, gossip, rumours, reviews, photos and all, magazines aren't nearly as essential as they used to be as a source for Elvis info.............

And, as expected, it includes a great article by Keith Flynn.

Well according to the interveiw with Ronnie in issue 75 he said

"I'd been involved in music since I was old enough to walk, just

about, always singing and playing the guitar...played some trumpet

in a band. Then in my last year, my senior year, I switched over to drums."

For me...the internet will never take over a solid magazine like ETMAHM and NDT.

Just a view.
