Documentary film-maker ADAM MUSKIEWICZ is offering a $3 million (GBP1.7 million) reward to any person with legitimate proof that ELVIS PRESLEY is alive and well. Muskiewicz had been investigating Presley for two years, interviewing conspiracy theorists, experts, authors and close friends of the star. He has been collecting information through his new website, ElvisWanted.com and plans to release his documentary THE TRUTH ABOUT ELVIS in August 2007. The film's release will coincide with the 30th anniversary of Presley's death.

Well he's gonna find that there won't be any rich person thanks to him. Elvis is dead, i'm sorry to admit it, but he is, and i'm not gonna live in a fairytale and say he is still alive. He's dead people, we are (supposedly) celebrating his 29th death anniversary in a couple of days. So instead of mourning, lets CELEBRATE.

Steve, you have made some good points. I usually don't wander off into the Media Section a lot, but I just wanted to add that it's been mentioned in the tabloids here today. So he has interviewed the lunatic Elvis underground? And close friends? So on the one side you have got people who think he is still alive and on the other hand people who think that he is dead. Or am I missing something? Personally I think it is disrespectful to offer a 3M reward or just to think about such a thing. Even if somebody (who?) would have a location and information, why does he think that person would disclose it after 30! years? It just boogles the mind. Also is this project going to be on TV or at the movie theaters?

This thing was in entertainment news of Finland, and of course reporters knows that this is just a promotional thing for the documentary to promise 3 million for guy who proofs Elvis is alive.

If he's offering $3M, he must surely have come to the conclusion that 'the truth' is that Elvis is dead.
