Jan Shepard Birthday Party -> February 22, 1958

It seems up-and-coming actor Ty Hardin was also at Jan Shepard's surprise birthday party.

It was held at the end of February 1958, just before "King Creole" wrapped.

Wish we had a tape of that jam session!

Hardin would later be introduced at the Friday, August 14, 1970 MS in Las Vegas. A while back, Elvis World Japan posted a screen grab:

Very nice Doc. Though I have never heard of Ty Hardin.

Ty is best known for his title role in TV's "Bronco," which ran from 1958 to 1962.

He's become a little bit of a nut case since those days with Elvis.

It seems up-and-coming actor Ty Hardin was also at Jan Shepard's surprise birthday party.

He's on the home movie footage of this same party in 'THIS IS ELVIS' extended edition.

Wasn't Ty also included in on some the backyard football games Elvis had?

Oh, you mean "backyard."

The early football photographs are from Memphis in late December 1956.

What great snaps! There's another jam session we'll never hear -- Elvis was really into "Danny Boy," apparently.
