Hey Wait! You're the guy who posted it! I did not deny the height of the collar. Just that they made it sound like the Aloha suit or something and its not. Pretty simple. But a jumpsuit. I was just pointing out something about the irony of it all.
If EP had worn the orininal outfits from the previous year, he might well have walked a few blocks on Jim's socks!

Just a little context and history.
Morrison should have done his rocknroll homework and not chosen Miami for the teasing gesture. Of which he has been cleared.

Hurumph!

Regarding Elvis’ show in St. Louis September 10, we have plenty of pictures of Elvis in his White Chain Suit claiming to be from this show…however, some pictures are with the brown macramé belt, and others the red macramé belt. Anyone with the clear facts?

One possible solution is, that he used brown macramé belt in St. Louis, and all the pictures with Chain Suit and Red Macramé belt are actually from San Diego, November 15th - how about that?

That is exactly correct. The first is from 9-10-1970 (St. Louis), the second from 11-15-1970 (San Diego).

A little bit of Trivia to add...Director and Former writer for Rolling Stone Cameron Crowe (Jerry Maguire, Almost Famous, Vanilla Sky and more) says he attended the San Diego show with his Mom.

A great set of memorabilia, pics, and information Doc! I agree that some sort of acknowledgment of this tour from RCA/Sony, FTD, is certainly long overdue. Thanks again.

Thanks for a topic about this great tour! Maybe sometime via FTD there comes a
soundboard and we all can listen to how great our man was at this fantastic time.
