That's because she isn't a Las Vegas showgirl, she's a model from New York named Sandy Preston.

I think her identity is still open to question. Here's a side-by-side with the well-known pic of Dottie Harmony. The hairstyle (and hair line -- even the part), the forehead, cheekbones, nose, smile, neck...

It is no longer "open to question," thanks to my query and the evidence by The fool and davide. But I will humour you once more.

Study the Sandy Preston images on this topic, review the high quality photo davide posted, and then check the Dottie Harmony images here:

Dottie Harmony --> What Did Elvis Ever See In Her?

Dottie and Sandy are two different women.

Elvis is with Sandy Preston at the Sahara in October 1957.

Besides these facts, if you care to read this topic from page one, you will learn that Sandy Preston is mentioned by name in a report by his friend Cliff Gleaves on the trip to Vegas in October 1957. She had several dates with Elvis. Dottie Harmony is not mentioned Gleaves or anyone else who was there. In fact, she and Elvis had probably stopped dating by this point.

I hope this helps.

And, in his heyday, he was better looking! Really, he was a fine-lookin' cat. So I'll just grab that lovely shot of Elvis, and Photoshop her out. These chicks seem to be virtually interchangeable, anyway.
