Burning from YouTube?

Tue Jul 01, 2014 1:18 am

Is there anyway you can download videos from YouTube so they can then be burnt to disc? I know how to audio files, was wondering if there was a way to do video's also.
Thanks

Use jDownloader. It's hands down the best software for downloading YouTube files in quite a few formats and at all the available resolutions of course.
Install it, copy and paste the link in the soft and choose your desired file. Works on many other sites as well. ;)

Although it's not free, but does have a trial, I use "Streaming Video Recorder" because of it's many features and compatibilities to steam other videos to Mp4 HD format.
http://www.streaming-video-recorder.com/

Of course you could just download the free 'Torch" browser that will rip any audio, or video from the web.(Comes in handy to rip those Instagram pics. )
http://lp.torchbrowser.com/?sysid=448&appid=305

After you get the YouTube vid rips, you will need a convert to DVD program such as "ConvertXtoDVD"

You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

Torch sounds amazing. I'm wondering if it can do ESPN videos from their website. Will have to check after I finish my exams on Friday. Better not forget about it...

Thanks! ::rocks

Torch can do just about any embedded video or audio web based download , It's one amazing browser . I don't use it as a full time browser I only open it when I need an audio or video download.

It's legal as long as you are not downloading copyrighted material such as movies or music.

The best downloader I've found is FreeStudio's YouTube Downloader/YouTube To Mp3 Downloader which can be found here:

Seriously, or technically, every video that doesn't have a Creative Commons licence that allows use belongs to the user who made it and uploaded it, even without third-party material. Comes with a standard YouTube license. Even stupid videos of kids falling off a roof into a garden rake or whatever.

I think.

But. If uploaded to Facebook, it belongs to them, as I understand it.

I hardly doubt anyone would really want to convert a Youtube rip to a LOSSY Mp3 file, since there is already an abundance of compression already.

pass...

If you can't buy the song, if it's totally unavailable? Sure.

Any song that is on YouTube I can download in Flac elsewhere. But the whole point is, everything can be downloaded on YouTube in it's highest available format if you just use the correct ripper. To rip an audio file from YouTube with a ripper that only rips to Mp3 when there are HD rippers for free in mind boggling.

Where do I find Nolan Strong and The Diablos' "The Wind" in a lossless format, or even in decent MP3? I can't find it in the usual places, so my only choice was to grab it off of YouTube. (I didn't know about better rippers at that time.) It's one of the most amazing recordings I have EVER heard!
