Signature Images in Different Browsers

Wed Dec 25, 2013 12:44 pm

I tried, many hours ago, to temporarily change my sig file for Christmas to the image you now see below. I hope!

I did it first in the Android 4.3 stock browser, and thought it was done.

Then I opened Chrome.

:'(

So, I started again. Always use desktop, not mobile links and test in several browsers!

Maybe we can upload sig file images one day. I forgot to ask Santa! :o

Merry Christmas. Hope this helps someone.

I can see all the images in your signature:

Forget Santa, you may upload a sig file image with this workaround:

- Upload the image to a regular topic.
- Copy the resulting URL.
- Paste that URL into your signature section as an image link.

Thanks, man! Wow. Never thought of that. Dropbox changes the link syntax with different browsers. This would be way easier!

You are a freagin' genius. I'll tell ya!

:D

P.S. -- I wish I could pass on the birthday wishes. I use the photo as a memorial. She died in 2008. I miss her so much. We light candles for her birthday on midnight, December 24. Just went out about an hour ago. It's like she's with us when they are burning. She really was born on Christmas Day. I thought, in 2008, that I'd never have another Christmas, but then realized she wouldn't want that. Amazing how you can cope with the impossible.
