Marty Robbins was a beautiful singer. Here's one of my favorites, the follow-up to his biggest-ever single, "El Paso":

Love Marty's voice here -->

A fantastic singer who Elvis obviously admired!

I love his 68-69 albums "I walk Alone" and "It's A Sin". His gospel album (What God Has Done) Is amazing too, with the outtake of Where Could I Go To The Lord (not on the album) being a highlight.

His pure country albums "Devil Woman" (1962), "RFD" (1964) and "My Kind Of Country" (1967) are personal favorites too, along with the usually critically maligned "Tonight Carmen" album from 1967.

I treasure his Hawaii-albums. Great stuff - such as Beyond The Reef...
