I love a classic. For my money, this is one of the tracks that heralded the start of sophistication in modern pop. One of the best pop records ever made.
I love an update. This is British pop at it's absolute best. Mutya Buena, featuring Amy Winehouse, re-working a classic both beautifully and with respect.

"Be My Baby" is Brian Wilson's all-time favorite song. And Hal Blaine's drumming is sublime. Do I need to mention the awesomeness of Ronnie Spector? Or the innovative production by some other guy? Yeah, it's a keeper, despite never making it to #1.
The later cut is nice, and reminds me of how much Amy W is missed.

Yep. Phil Spector, the greatest.
