The Red Sovine version is the one I grew up with. LOVED it when I discovered Elvis' version sometime in the early 80s!

Nope. He was a cool country singer. Have you heard his timeless spoken hits, "Teddy Bear" and "Phantom 309", and "Little Rosa". Fabulous stuff!
