Johnny Cash sings "He Touched Me"

Thu Apr 19, 2012 6:20 pm

Couldn't find it on youtube, so I had to upload it:

Johnny Cash - He Touched Me.wav (25.93MB)
http://www.sendspace.com/file/debago

Taken from the new Cash compilation "Bootleg Vol. IV: The Soul Of Truth", the song was recorded on January 24, 1979 in Nashville and features Rodney Crowell.
The whole compilation was produced by Gregg Geller (and Steve Berkowitz) and mastered by Vic Anesini.

We all know which version is better, right?

But during my search on youtube I discovered the VERY BEST VERSION (that guy actually gives me the creeps, for Christ's sake):

Ironically on that 51 track album, this was the only gospel song that Elvis also recorded.

I have yet to find it in a British store, but it may get released slightly later over here? not sure. either way, A believer Sings The Truth, which makes up the first CD, is a great album.
