One of the absolute highlights from Amy's now classic Back To Black album [Island Records, 2006].
Everything about this recording is just perfect. Be it the effortlessly cool and punctuated rhythm section; the rich yet restrained strings; the glorious old-fashioned reverb and of course Amy's heartbreakingly gorgeous vocals, that since her premature death in July 2011, have now taken on extra meaning.
When released as the final single off BTB, in 2007, she could not have known it would be the last ever single to see release in her lifetime.
Truly profound. RIP Amy.
