I don't listen to much in other languages, but do have a great liking for French songs, many of which were given new lyrics and turned into standards such as When The World was Young, What Now My Love. I do love Milord - particular Darin's brassy versions - and also another Piaf song, Je n'en Connais Pas la Fin
The English language version by Jeff Buckley is exquisite:

As well as being a terrific actor and a splendid producer, Andy Lau is a great vocalist and I really enjoy his music.

My all time favorite from 1963 "Sukiyaki" by Kyu Sakamoto. The only Japanese song that sold 13 million copies internationally. Everytime I listen to this tune, I suddenly become very hungry for some sushi & rice.

Perhaps the most popular chinese love song
And Here's Kenny G's cover
and here's Summer Kisses, Winter Tears in Chinese, notice the melody sounds so oriental.

Our oldest daughter is practising for a dance-event at school, and she has been playing this song all the time for the past weeks! And, well, I gotta admit, it's pretty catchy.
Nice clip, a very pretty lady, and the guy is wearing the Jailhouse Rock jacket.
