75 years ago today, Robert Johnson had his first recording session in room 414 at the Gunter Hotel in San Antonio, TX. One of the 8 sides he recorded that day was "Terraplane Blues". Hear it here...http://rockabillynblues.blogspot.com/2011/11/robert-johnsons-first-recording-session.html

He was such a great artist.
I have his complete works on the 2-CD set (29 master takes + 13 alternates)
"The Complete Recordings - The Centennial Collection" (Sony Legacy, 2011).
His whole life and œuvre are so interesting and mysterious, I can't get enough of this! Highly recommended.
