Louis Armstrong: Tenderly/You'll Never Walk Alone

I have always loved the studio version of this medley (which isn't on youtube), available on the "I Love Jazz" album. But here is the live version from 1956, which is almost as good.

I Love Jazz is a wonderful album, and this is also a fine version of a superb medley.

Oddly, I'm not a massive Armstrong fan - I appreciate what he did musically and his influence, but he;s not someone I listen to a great deal, mostly because I fall into the swing/bop areas of jazz. But I Love Jazz has always been a source of pleasure since I picked it up at a car boot sale a number of years back - a guy and his band just simply having a ball, I like the Disney album for the same reason.
