I'm familiar with the live version from the long ago Star Club double album, but that studio take is a surprise! Still so much stuff locked away in the vaults. Shame, shame, shame. Us Elvis fans are so lucky. Beatles fans haven't got diddley since the Anthology project ended.

Great. Recently discovered do you think or just hidden from the public gaze all this time?

Yes the live version is from the Star Club shows but it's much improved sound than what i recall.
Tony, I'm not sure. It's so amazing the stuff that turns up on YT. It wouldn't surprise me if one day someone should upload a soundboard track or two from Pitsburgh 1976 or Indy June 26 1977 show.

It's a BBC recording from one of their Saturday Club appearances in 1963. It's been out on bootleg for years.
