On Thursday night David Gilmour joined Roger Waters at the 02 Arena in London for 2 songs for Roger's Wall tour. David played his classic Comfortably Numb while on top of the Wall. After the Wall came down Roger brought David out on stage and then announced that by happy coincindence another rement of their former band was there and he then invited Nick Mason to join them. Together they performed Outside the Wall with the rest of the band. Roger played trumpet, David played madolin, and Nick played tambourine. At the conclusion of the song Roger introduced everyone in the touring band as they left the stage leaving only himself, David, and Nick. It was really cool seeing them up there again smiling and even giving each other a hug. There are even HD videos on YouTube of all this. Great picture and sound quality.
As for rumors of any kind of reunion tour..... Roger says yes, Nick says maybe, and David says no way. For one night and 2 songs it was pretty cool. I'll take that.

Funny that Roger is the one who is campaigning for a big-money reunion tour after all these years.
