Oh, yeah - now we're talking. That's some great music-making. Wish Elvis had cut a proper version of Stagger Lee.

Good man greystroke! "Just Because" is pretty amazing. And yeah you are right, Elvis could've done a mighty fine version of "Stagger Lee" (I can really picture him doing it during the 1970 Nashville Marathon), although "Just Because" would be unbeatable imo.

I think that Price has recently written his biography, or memoirs of sorts. May be very interesting and is one I'll keep a look-out for. But, yeah, Elvis cutting Stagger Lee in 1970 could have been a killer and may have been a great opener on Elvis Country.
