There never was a deadline for July, August or September. Those were all guesses.
Anyway, as Brian just said how much he loved it, I think it might be finished now. Hopefully we'll get a release date soon.

Never saw it in this quality. The Beach Boys - Jumpin' Jack Flash 1975

Brian Wilson will release In the Key of Disney, the legendary Beach Boy's take on songs best known from classic Disney films, on October 11. This is Wilson's second album for the Walt Disney label -- his first was the album of George Gershwin song in the Wilson style, Brian Wilson Reimagines Gershwin, released August, 2010. Details and track listing to come.

In related news, the long-awaited, oft-delayed The Smile Sessions, music from the "great lost Beach Boys album" Smile, is on the calendar for an October 4November 1 release.

Last Christmas, my sister bought me David Marks' book and that was signed. He's had his ups and downs in life.

He bought a Johnny Cash best of and the new RHCP album, so not bad on his part. I picked up the first six Doors LPs in a small box for less than twenty quid.

The Pet Sounds set was £60, but I got mine second hand from one of the record shops in Soho for half that in my uni days.
