Roy Orbison and the Teen King's initial version of "Ooby Dooby" on JE-WEL records. This is the version which got Sam Philips in them. He subsequently had them re-recorded it in a faster tempo for Sun. This is a rare record.

1931 Snooks & the Memphis Ramblers - Dip Your Brush In The Sunshine
Snooks was drummer-bandleader Herbert “Snooks” Friedman who recorded for (mostly) Victor between 1928 and 1932.
Transferred from 78rpm Victor 22720 - Dip Your Brush In The Sunshine (And Keep On Painting Away) (Andy Razaf-J. C. Johnson) by Snooks and the Memphis Ramblers, vocal by Wally Ashby, recorded in NYC May 21, 1931
