February 11th 1973 Dinner Show - Audience Recording with fair- sound

This Dinner Show has a little different setlist with How Great Thou Art instead of What Now My Love after Hound Dog and I'll Remember You is left out.
Our man seems a little more talkable again and has some funny comments before Love Me and Hound Dog (he also sings "You ain't nothing but a wolly booger" here.
Elvis gives away his guitar pick as a birthday gift for a fan before he sings You Don't Have To Say You Love Me. You Gave Me A Mountain has an extra long intro before Elvis starts singing.
Jack Lord attended this show also, and the band plays the Hawaii Five-0 theme again.

The Concert Years Vol.38 which features the February 11, 1973 DS is wrongly dated "MS".
The 2001 Theme is missing. But your track listing starts with the Opening Riff anyway , so all is fine.

A good show with a standard setlist. Elvis is messing up You Don't Have To Say You Love Me a little bit here and does as always a great version of Steamroller Blues, and I can't help but love them both.
Each version of Fever has Elvis' special trademark, but the last minute of this version is really worth a spin. It's really funny to listen to this last part.

February 22nd 1973 Midnight Show - Audience Recording with good sound
This Las Vegas season goes to an end, and you can hear that Elvis is in much better mood here. He introduces Priscilla after Love Me Tender.
After some funny talk, Elvis sings a one liner of before Love Me. I haven't been able to find out if it is some improvised lyrics from Elvis or a line of a song (Elvis sings "We'll be quiet in the sun...").
Before Hound Dog, a woman in the audience says "Take your shirt off", and Elvis replies "I got no shirt...".

February 23rd 1973 Closing Show - Audience Recording with good sound

Elvis' closing show for this season gives us an Elvis in very great mood where he does an excellent performance. This show also has the special piano intro for You Don't Have To Say You Love Me. Love Me has a raw start....
What Now My Love partly spoken and it's an very impressive performance, a real highlight. Elvis also gives us an encore here, including a false start.
During the Introduction Of The Band, Elvis tells us a little story of J.D. Sumner. A lot of celebrities attended this show (see tracklist).

Interesting that Priscilla was in the audience. I wonder if Red or Sonny or Joe told her that, just a few nights earlier, Elvis was allegedly begging them to have her boyfriend killed.

What Now My Love and the Introduction Of The Band is incomplete on this recording.

The 2001 Theme is incomplete at the beginning. And Elvis does a oneliner of Alfie before I`ll Remember You. There`s an old cover of the cdr "On The Ramp" wrongly dated 2/21/73 MS.

That's correct, Elvis does the oneliner during the piano intro of I'll Remember You. Do you know if there's any source that's have the Introduction Of The Band and What Now My Love complete??

Ok, seems like I have completed this season for my collection (at least until some new show surfaces). Next up will be a quick overview of the Aloha shows, very little to write about when it comes to these shows, but we gotta have these appearances included before we go to 1972. :smt006 ::rocks
