Thank you so much Cisco. About the same quality that I have and still we wonder what he says after PM. He probably refer to CCR who are in the audience which also John Fogerty have stated he was. Maybe you can lift this topic over to all elvis section to probably have more respond to what he says after PM? Really cool show by the way. I have always loved it and played it several times over the last 20 years I have had it on cassette. If someone have better qualty of this recording and to make out what he says that would be something.
I wonder if Barbie can share some light to this recording?. She recorded Seattle and Portland right after Oakland so maybe that recording came from her or some other she knows were at the show?

Sincerely

Kenneth

He cuts the song off and says "That's enough.....Creedance Clearwater revival is here tonight ladies and Gentlemen".....then there is applause. And its sounds like he may have told them to stand up. can't tell for sure. i couldn't understand every word but if u listen for the name of the band u will hear it. and it makes perfect sense too because Proud Mary was not a regular part of the show at this time. the only reason he did it was as a lead in to introducing them.

Three things:

- Thanks for uploading this.
- Note yet another standalone version of "Tiger Man"
- There was no afternoon show (AS), so no need to note this concert as an evening show (ES).

You`re welcome, John.

Only 4 days later Elvis delivered two shows a day:
Los Angeles, CA November 14th A/S
Los Angeles, CA November 14th E/S

I think it is necessary to distinguish between AS and ES - especially in these days were often 2 shows a day took place.
Adding no daytime could mean either AS or ES. Granted after Huntsville, September 6, 1976 where he gave the last AS of his career the daytime coud be left out cause there were just ES anyway. But not everybody - especially newbies - know this.

You do what you want, but to signify "ES" for a date where there is one show is confusing, and unnecessary. When there are two shows on a single day, then "AS" and "ES" are pertinent and necessary. It's not rocket science. ;-)
