Ladies and Gentlemen..I`d like to start with Crying Time..rarely performed ..I think we only have two other version from August 1970 in Vegas...but this one featured here is by far the longest. He also rehearsed it during the shooting of TTWII. If you have specific requests for rarities..please put them in our request box.

The next is Memphis Tennessee as sung in Asheville, July 22, 1975 ES.
The show is one of the best I have ever heard...pity the sound is not the best.

A fan sent me this little story about the Asheville show..

I saw your post about "Memphis" being sung on July 22, 1975. I was on front row for this show. This is my girlfriend giving Elvis a red phone. He is also reading a note from her telling him she had just gotten back from Vegas and how much she enjoyed the show. He stood up and walked around with the phone and was singing "Memphis." It's the recording of "Memphis" you posted on FECC

The next one is Sweet Inspirations. He did it the only time in Las Vegas, August 20, 1970 DS. It was a hit for his vocal backing group back then.

It's a shame he didn't do the entire song.

You could have avoided that if you had taken a look at this website:

http://ciscoking.jordans-elvis-world.com/

I agree the 3 Asheville shows were tremendous, his voice sounds so incredibly good and flexible, it's almost unbelievable he could still pull this off, plus the band's on fire as well. He felt he had something to prove, a feeling I get as well, for the last time, when listening to the late December '76 shows...

Joe Krein interview with Sherril Nielsen: "YOU KNOW YOU FORGET HOW GOOD HE REALLY WAS. I SAID MY GOODNESS. YOU KNOW WHEN YOU ARE WITH HIM YOU ARE SO WRAPPED UP DOING THE SHOW, BUT HERE NOW 20 YEARS LATER, I HEAR HIM AND REALIZE WHAT A GREAT TALENT HE WAS. HE WAS THE REAL DEAL.

That's one of my favorites, he sings it so pretty.. The amount of rarities on soundboard is obviously very meager compared to the amount we have on audience recorded tapes.
Still, I think Ernst should include some of them where possible within future SB releases, their sonic quality may differ, but their historical and musical importance often merits inclusion.

Which concert tour you regret the most that there isn't a soundboard available from, Cisco, the July '75 tour or the April '73 tour ? :)

To me, the '75 tour, because the '73 tour has some very decent AR already..
