Hi Cisco,

there was an article printed in Strictly Elvis No.76, which was written by Steve & Nancy Toli. You'll find that one on this very site beyond the following link:

https://www.elvis-collectors.com/ccshowrev23.html

Also there is a newspaper article written by Linda Herskowitz, which you can find beyond the following link:

http://elvisconcerts.com/newspapers/news1974.htm

Probably you'll find more if you're searching at newspapers.com, but it isn't for free.

The matter of the 150 stolen tickets stayed in the press for several days. I have some articles on it. Just need to dig them out.

As I've mentioned before, my Dad went to one of those two shows. Not sure which. What I am sure of is that he invited me to go and I, age 9, wasn't interested. Had a chance to see June 1974 Elvis and blew it.

If a visit to the Providence Public Library is in order, I'll volunteer. It's an hour from my house. PM if you'd like to discuss.

Yes..please. Did Elvis do a reprise Of Why Me Lord and Let Me Be There in both shows or where did he do which reprise. I think this gets mentioned somewhere. And where does he introduce John Wilkerson as comig from Providence and Charlie from Patthaw or wherever. The reviews we have mix all up.

At the matinee he introduced John Wilkinson as being from Providence and at the evening show he introduced Charlie Hodge as being from Pawtucket.

On what we have he introduces Charlie as being from Pawtucket. No special mentioning at Johns.

He says John is from "Rhode Island". It's a little garbled, but I think that's what he says. It is not "Providence," of that I am sure.

I believe I have recordings of both shows. Will listen to both over the next few days and submit a full report.
