Elvis on tour - question

#1639287

Post by jossc »

Hello,

I don't know if this is the correct section, I was wondering wether any of the live concerts featured in this dvd are available in their entirety, or if anyone knows if they are planned to be released. I find it hard to believe that there is not a video locked away somewhere from these tours and I'm sure they would be sought after.

thanks.

Hi,

To my knowledge, none of the the filmed concerts have been made available in their entirety on video, if that's the question. If you don't have it already, seek out Star's excellent Through My Eyes DVD - no shows are complete, but theres much more material from 3 of the 4 main shows - not much from Richmond, but additional footage from lots of stops on the tour.

If the question is about Audio, then Greensboro, San Antonio and Richmond have all been released completely. Hampton Roads has never been released completely.

thanks very much , I was asking about video, ill check that dvd out. I cant understand why they wouldn't release the entire concerts they must have been filmed in full to be edited down for highlights. I'm sure they would sell great.

Buy this, it doesn't get any better with the available material today.
It's a terrific edit combining EOT & outtakes, representing around 75% of the show.

Just imagine that the best Elvis video release is still to come, 41 years after the man passed away!
The complete Hampton Roads 1972 show on bluray. WOW!
