Ain't No Ending To This Song Baby!

Tigerman > '68 Comeback Special' > a stunning performance that I've been enjoying recently from the BLACK LEATHER edit of said special. Elvis launches into it with joyous rock & roll abandon and what a performance ! I must say not even Scotty played with so much rhythm attack > the strings on his Gibson were smoking by the end!

'Ain't no ending to this song baby!'

Rumour has it that Elvis recorded a version in his SUN era days and it sure would be AMAZING if ever found.

BMG released the TIGERMAN CD solely dedicated
to the fantastic second sit-down show -->

Elvis obviously loved the song performing it with 'Mystery Train' in LAS VEGAS 1970. A stunning version.

Elvis > BLACK LEATHER...

A great cd "a mess of polk salad"
tyvm for bringing up this thread .

Having owned this cd too and seeing the iconic "68 Comeback Special on vhs and dvd , I always have loved his delivery on this great show from June 27th '68
He heard Rufus Thomas Junior sing this whilst he was growing up abd driving during the early fifties

On the Tigerman cd Denis Ferrante mixed the tracks on the 1998 cd release depicting a great show from Burbank Sessions.

Keep up the great work here "a mess of polk salad"
Best regards sent to you :smt006 ::rocks
