Cheers Keith :D

This is one super cool release.

We are damn lucky to get this, and for a pretty reasonable price too :D

I'm not going to watch this promo but will wait for the DVD to arrive in about 2 weeks time. Don't want to spoil the surprise!

Thanks keith

this is gonna be a killer release
I personally think that this is the most exiting new Elvis release in
the new millinium, I love both the 68 and aloha box set´s
but this is really gonna be so much more exiting to watch

countless of times have I watched the same short clips we have from
this show over and over and wished and dreamed about having the whole show in great quality with sound.

and now (ok not the full show but almost) its happening
man what a thrill its gonna be to be seeing this dvd

and with the other dvd´s thats coming this year
and the steady flow of those great FTD cd´s

its good to be and Elvis fan right now :D

I will surely buy this one but I am a little bit disapointed though: it seems that is not direct sound but that images and sound have been mixed using two different sources. In fact the film is a silent movie and they mixed it with sound tapes we allready know for years.

Am I right ? what is you opinion on that?

As a matter of fact this is not clearly stated in the MRS promo, a little be dishonnest if so.

Sun May 27, 2007 7:22 pm

Yeah it looks like its been overdubbed,And by the sound of it
its from the same audio source that we have on the gold box
but that really dont disapoint me.

I really wasent expecting a better audio source
hoping maybe, but not expecting it

but soon we also have footage to go with most off the audio we got
from that great afternoon show in tupelo in 1956
and that is fantastic :D

yeah all those outtakes from TTWII and on tour was thrilling to see
and I loved every minute of it ,and looking forward to much more outtakes from on tour
but to see this allmost complete show from 1956 is gonna be mindblowing

Now we just need the complete footage and sound from the show he did in tupelo in 1957
the couble of minutes thats on the hot shoots and cool clips looks great,he was a whirlwind on stage what moves
eat your heart out Michael Jackson

Last time I preordered something was for the ALOHA DOUBLE DVD SET, some five years ago. The TUPELO DVD looks very promising. Can´t wait to receive it!

been A elvis fan for 30 odd years
and its still magic seeing new Elvis performances footage

I just watched the promo for I think the 7 or 8 time
and when that short clip of Elvis doing the slow end of hound dog came up my heart just started to beat faster, man seeing that was almost better than having ... (I said almost)

this is gonna be magic watching this
after all of those years hoping for the footage to appear
Im gonna get my girlfriend ,my daugther, mom, brothers, and lots of friends ,and cold beer´s together when I get this dvd
and then we gonna have a blast watching this show all together.

(and no im not related to MRS)

im just VERY exited about this release

Thanks Keith!

Looks very promising.

Sun May 27, 2007 9:36 pm

Looks amazing!

Kinda funny to see (or, rather, be reminded of the fact) that he was already using the guitar merely as a prop in 1956!

Sun May 27, 2007 9:42 pm

Thanks :D . Just watched this, brilliant. Cant wait till the preorder arrives. Great.

Sun May 27, 2007 10:35 pm

For those American fans that want to purchase "Tupelo's Own Elvis Presley" you can get it off of here: ... is+Presley

This comes out to be approximately $44.63 ... it=Convert

Mon May 28, 2007 12:52 am

Is it going to be on a region free DVD?Or only playable on UK players?

Mon May 28, 2007 1:27 am

Eric, I would assume that this third volume from MRS is region-free, given that the first two volumes played here in the U.S.
