If this one is anything like the previous two releases, we'll have another winner on our hands.

Looking forward to it.

Another slice of "Southern Comfort"...!

If only these were more widely available!

Hop to it, folks and try to find yourself a copy. Anyone who normally sits out imports (how foolish  ) should try this series and then get back to us on their thoughts...!

The cover may be nice but it isn't from 1969. It is from 1968 I believe.

Out of curiosity people....

What are your main reasons for you wanting
to continue buying this series or even to
get excited about it?
Image
Since most, if not all of these tracks have been
already released in many forms....
Image
Now please do not take this wrong, I'm am
not putting down the series, as I as well
do have the first two volumes in my collection..

Image
An I can see and hear this is a quality
series in the same calibre as Madison....

However in some respects other than
the nice booklet that is included along
with the material being now put in a more
Chronological order ....

Are these really the only two points
as to being the main reason
for anyone of you deciding to buy
into this series and getting excited
about it?

Or am I missing something?

Has the sound been much improved
than what has been released prior?

Do you feel there is that much of a
noticiable difference?

By how much in your opinion, 50%, 30%, 10% ?
PEP wrote:Do you feel there is that much of a noticiable difference?
Yes.
Again, when you say this by what measurement are you
going by? What makes you feel this way?
PEP wrote:Or am I missing something?
Yes.

Please explain a little more as to what you
believe I am missing in detail....

Basically I'm asking these questions so not just I understand
better, but maybe who ever else is reading will be able to
understand what to expect an that it's not all just about the
new insert, if you know what I mean....

Some very legitimate questions PEP.
It would appear that since Tom Edison knocked out his first phonograph, not a decade has gone by where some audio revolution has swept the record/cd buying public.
Are we to be forever 'upgrading' our collections? It would appear so.
For me, there would have to be a significant improvement in sonics before I will be parting with my hard earned.

This release is for me interesting. The cover is superb, and the sound quality is indeed improved.
I don't think you can go wrong with this one.
We elvis fans should be extremly happy with all the releases we can choose from.

The sessions aren`t new ..but we have them here in upgrated sound and chronological order.

They had been scattered around on various releases. Now we have them in compact form for the first time. Only the cdr makers managed this until yet ...

Thanks to Ernst Joergensen, Roger Semon and Erik Rasmussen for the great work. Keep the spirit alive !
